Audi R8 V10 is back on Nurburgring

Company Audi has renewed tests of new super car R8 after in April of this year directly on the Nurburgrings track has burnt down by first prototype Audi R8 V10.

The manufacturer has equipped a new prototype with the advanced fire-prevention system, that it is no wonder as to restore car in cost over an euro half-million is problematic enough. The system becomes more active pressing of two red buttons which are established outside near to a vanity mirror from the driver’s party. In case of ignition the pilot, having jumped out of a prototype, at the minimum risk for itself can quickly extinguish fire, having activated system, being out of the car.

Powerful sports car Audi R8 V10 to which under different data will name R10, R8 S or RS8, will receive the same 10-cylinder V-shaped motor, as Lamborghini Gallardo, however hardly smaller power - about 490-500 h.p. Apparently on a prototype which is completely relieved of a camouflage, at new R8 V10 there will be wide air intakes from sides of a body, “skirt” and brake plates with big diameter.
